Smoking Cessation Program

Get cigarettes out of your life for good!

This program is designed to provide support and strategies to supercharge your success to become a non-smoker. If you are ready and willing to finally get rid of this damaging habit, then this is the program for you.

This program is four appointments scheduled over 2-4 weeks.

Initial visit (1.5 hours):

During this appointment:

  1. We will do a comprehensive assessment and develop a personalized smoking cessation program for you. This will involve assessing your current smoking habits, your lifestyle, potential obstacles, diet and health (current health conditions).

  2. We will also discuss your readiness and determine the best approach for you such as: choosing a target “quit date”, eliminating cigarettes as a gradual taper or “all done” approach.

  3. At the end of the initial session you’ll receive a personalized relaxation recording that you are required to listen to every day 2x/day until your next appointment.  You’ll be given detailed instructions on how to prepared to become a non-smoker: addressing habits, triggers, environments, daily routines.

Appointment #2 (1 hour):

Scheduled on your target quit day. You’ll receive hypnosis with acupuncture.

Appointment #3 (1 hour):

This is an after support appointment, scheduled 1-7 days after your target quit day. You’ll receive hypnosis with acupuncture.

Appointment #4 (1 hour):

This is a maintenance support appointment, scheduled 1 week after the previous appointment. You’ll receive hypnosis with acupuncture.

Please note: Adaptations to this schedule can be made based on individual needs.

Program requirements:

For best results:

  1. You cannot be taking other pharmaceutical quitting methods at the same time such as nicotine replacement gum, patches or inhalers or on medication such as Zyban that has been prescribed solely for quitting smoking (versus prescribed for diagnosed anxiety or depression).

  2. You must be 100% committed to the smoking cessation program (versus “trying to see what happens”).

  3. You cannot be using “alternative smoking” apparatus such as vaping, e-cigarettes or water pipe at the same time.

  4. It is strongly advised that you abstain from other recreational drugs, marijuana and alcohol for a period of time before, during and after your target quit date.

  5. You understand that no program, drugs or other quit smoking aids have a 100% guarantee. Your success ultimately comes from you and your commitment to your health. Hypnosis, acupuncture, nutrition and supplements are designed to work with your own efforts and full readiness towards becoming a non-smoker.
